The Church in South Denver Prayer Requests Week of September 5, 2010 Please Pray For Cody to get involved in a Christian group and to stay strong. Roger and Josie For healing of hearts. Also for protection over Randi and Nathaniel as they move forward with their plans to do foster care. Bree. M For my brother Cody to keep his faith and stay strong despite temptation. That we will be blessed with a job for Chris, things are getting tough financially. Cy For my brother Paul in prison. His appeal is coming up and he needs God’s help for this. Amy H For Cody L. to adjust to his new surroundings and to hold true to his morals and faith. He is being faced with a lot of unhealthy situations. Mary L For Matt B. to get a job soon, for healing for Edna R. who is recovering from surgey and Bill T. who fractured a rib during a fall. Josie and Roger Praise the Lord for prayers answered. Thank you Jesus. Tish B. We are meeting this week with the Mother and Grandfather of the baby boy we might get to adopt. Please pray for this meeting and if it’s God’s will for us to be parents to this little boy that it will all work out. Nathaniel and Randi For Gail B as she recovers from surgery. For marriages that are struggling. For safety for Tom H who is in Russia with his daughter Jenny this week. Week of August 29, 2010 Please Pray That my family grows in your spirit and reconnects with each other. Help us remember what is most important. For my dad, who has not been drinking! Praise God and I ask that He continues to give him strength. Also, pray for my friend Amber that she hears and knows God’s voice when he calls her. Christine A. Praise God I am pregnant! With God all things are possible. Please pray for a healthy and safe pregnancy. Jessica Lenhardt For God to give us wisdom in several decisions that we need to make. Pray that he will direct our paths according to his will. Amanda S. For our family and friends. Help us all to get through any hardships and sickness. Geri & Nique Nathaniel & I have an opportunity to adopt a little boy in November. Please pray for guidance and God’s will. We are still in the process of working with Adams County to do foster care and are unsure which one to follow through with. Pray that it will be clear on what we should do and for the little boy due in November that he will be placed with the right family, even if it’s not us. CONTINUING PRAYER Strength and Healing for Edna R as she goes through removing the cancer from her kidney. Strength and comforts for my Dad’s wife Corrinne who has been diagnosed with Stage 3 cancer. Casey & Jena L Peace for Betty and Ed D as he continues through Alzheimer’s. Healing and strength for Linda D. who has complications from arm and shoulder removal due to cancer. Brad H. Healing and comfort for Melissa A’s dad who has stomach cancer Comfort and Strength for Jim G, who has lung cancer that has spread throughout his body. Pray for his salvation. Cy K Healing and strength for full recovery for Rachel M’s cousin, Melany, who had a brain tumor removed. Healing and comfort for Edna R’s niece, Diana, who has cancer. Healing and strength for Jadean’s friend, Tom, who has cancer and for her nephew Marvin who also has cancer. Healing and comfort for Nick S’s dad who has cancer. Healing, strength and recovery for Idelia, friend of Alex G, who is battling breast cancer. Strength for Rachel, Ishmael, and Nathaniel M’s dad, Fernando, who has prostate cancer.
